Hello hello,
I had an appt for a MAC event they were doing this weekend near my house and went over there at 2pm. The lady who helped me was awesome! I told her what kind of look I wanted to learn how to do and she did this:
I LOVED the eyeshadow colors she used and where she put them. The eyeliner was a lot thicker than I would have liked but I fixed it later (see below).
Here's what she used:
(I already had a base of Kitchsmas and Silver Ring that she just worked over)
She used Plum Dressing in the middle of my eyelid
She pressed Flashtrack (a dark blue shade) into the outer crease and worked it onto the outer edge of my eyelid and then overlaid that with Black-tied to darken it.
Then she used Mylar on my browbone
Phloof in the inner part eyelid
and Blacktrack eyeliner
I didn't like the eyeliner on me, so I used liquid eye makeup remover and a qtip to remove most of it and then just added my normal amount of eyeliner (Blacktrack) to get this:
I ended up buying a ton of stuff including Plum Dressing and Flashtrack :). And today, I tried to use some of the tips she taught me to do a similar look but in lighter shades for daytime. Here's what I came up with:
I tried to put the colors where she put them and really liked it a lot better than the way I normally do my eyeshadow. Here's what I used:
Pink Opal Pigment as a base on eyelid with White Frost Pigment over it
I put a light layer of Plum Dressing in the middle of my eyelid over the pigments to add some color
Pressed Silver Pigment into the outer crease and worked it onto the outer edge of my eyelid
Phloof in the inner part eyelid and browbone
and Blacktrack eyeliner
Comments, suggestions and questions are always welcomed :). Later, Jayme
