Gotta love when you have a TV Tropes moment. I sort of had that when I finally got to see "Tron: Legacy" this past Friday. The actor who played Castor looked familiar, but I was leaving for Columbus for the weekend and didn't bother to IMDB him.
Anyway, I was talking with
machi_neko since our schedules finally lined up and I was able to give her the holiday gift I got her. We ended up talking about that movie and she told me who the actor was. It was Michael Sheen. I was shocked. The other three things I've seen him in were "Timeline", "Frost/Nixon", and "Underworld". None of those characters were remotely like Castor. Huh.
Also had a similar moment in that movie. There is a very minor character named Edward Dillinger Jr in T:L who is on the board of directors. He looked really familiar, but I didn't look him up either. He is, according to IMDB and Wikipedia, Cillian Murphy. Wow, does he look different in a beard.
