I suppose this could be called a development blog...
Some of you may remember that a few months ago I mentioned the vague idea I had for a Canada-America centric Ren'py visual novel game. And you also may have noticed that I haven't been particularly gabby or fanfiction-y as of late. While part of this is that I am too lazy to fight with posting my Kink Meme de-anons here; the other part of it is, well, this:
You know, I had an artist for a little while. And then she disapeared and I haven't heard from her since. So I decided to buckle down and fake the damn art myself by franken-tracing (ie, finding aspects that I like, tracing them and manipulating those things together into a workable picture). Oh, and I also stole the incredably simple stock-photo-manip backgrounds concept from the original Higurashi games. If it worked for them I figure it'll work for me. XD
I'm not even close to finishing, mind you. I still have (checks notes) Four characters and about half-a-dozen special scenes to draw, not to mention writing the code (which honestly doesn't take that long) and ironing out the details. I just figured I'd share so you guys could see I haven't just been lazing around all this time. :3
