I didn't want to do this, but I've been pushed to it. Yet another Russian-only journal has friended me without having ever spoken to me before. (As of 9/29 - there are SIX! accounts that post in Russian only with no common interests that have added me to their friends list.)
This makes me very uncomfortable, and since LiveJournal says it's not their responsibility to help you get yourself off other people's friends' lists... I have to do this. I don't like the idea of my life going out to people I've never spoken to, that I cannot speak to, and that I find myself totally lost as to why they have friended me to begin with.
To my friends who read this who don't have an LJ account, sorry. You can always sign up for one and email me, I'll friend your account (which means you will be able to read my entries then). Having an account doesn't mean you have to post to a journal.
ETA (9/29): To repeat: If you want to read my posts, you HAVE to message me and ASK to be on my friends list. I talk about my personal life in my journal and I do NOT want that going out to someone I can't communicate with due to a language barrier.
