Fighting the Battle of Who could care less
Oh my goodness last night was an amazing night haha. It reminded me a lot of the water gun fight that the pppers had the summer before we started freshmen year of college. Except last night that was times three.
First war of the night was our facebook war which Kelli started. The 4 remaining 5ers started posting ridiculous pictures of each other on facebook which you can see by looking at our facebooks.
Coming back from ice cream later on we saw the boys across the hall. Sara had posted embarassing pics of us near our dooe and we were about to go look at them when the boys ripped it down and threw it away befpre we could even see, so we declared room on them too, ahahaha. They kept trying to break into our room and piss us off more so we got out the water gun and filled it w/soap, hot water, listerine, pledge, oust and a little of my diet coke. Sara also unraveled a tube of wrapping paper and beat them with that. Somehow Jason got into our room and stole our water gun so Lala ducked into our room and Sara and I locked ourselves in the shower. I threw a wet shower sandal at him lol. Finally he left so we decided to put wrapping paper up on their door, which they ripped down immediately and that was the end of that battle.
The final and most amazing battle started when we went down to Craig, Adam, Steve and Angel's room. We just hung out scoping the room for something to steal. As I was walking out I noticed their frisbee, which they hold very dear to them, lying on the floor so I picked it up and casually walked out with it. We wrote up a ransom note and made it into a paper airplane and threw it into their room. Then I went to hang out w/Dan. It was taking them a while to respond to our threats so we went to see if they had actually read it yet and noticed that the airplane hadn't even made it into the room so we threw it again. Then I went to go hang out with JonJon for a bit. After watching a couple of South Parks I left to go see if the boys of 319 were still in their room or doing something about their frisbee. Their door was locked so I figured they were asleep a nd went upstairs. As I'm walking up I get a call from Lala telling me to come up then I see Craig jump out of our room, see me, and run back in. I kept trying to get in but they were blocking the door. I put my keys in the door so I could be able to unlock it and I was finally let in and the boys stole my keys along with a few other things. I noticed a cord reaching from our bedroom door handle to the bathroom door handle, Lauren was locked in our room and there was shaving cream on the floor that I stepped in. I got the cord off the door and went into to the bathroom only to see our toilet and sink filled with coffee and a shaving cream message on the board that said "This is war". Sara ended up coming out and yelling at us for being loud (sorry sara!!!) and slipped in the shaving cream so we cleaned up as best as we could before we got a phone call from the boys saying to look out the window toward Corey where we saw them holding my flashlight. We got our weaponry of silly string, shaving cream and water gun together and ran outside for attack. Pretty much we chased them around until we found my flashlight on a boulder of snow next to a message that said "We still got it". They called us and told us to go to Clark with their frisbee to get my keys. We're hanging out for a while when we saw a tall dude in red walking out of the glass tower toward us and notice that it's JonJon, they had JOn on their side. We made our swap with him and were told to go and check our camera. We walk in the door of Glass Tower and the night clerks hand over my cd case and tell us to check our camera, then we see the elevator door open with Adam and Angel on it and Adam has a whip in his hand, lol. We get on the other elevator and go up to our room to find pics of steve and adam on the camera with Lala's slipper and my giraffe Jeffrey. Then we get a phone call saying to "pick up a package" in the RA office. We go down there to see Jeffrey hanging from a chord. I get him down and the night clerks tell us to go to the pool table where we saw STeve and he ran off screaming and Lala found a slipper. The next phone call told us that her slipper was drying off or something but I ran upstairs to put Jeffrey away just to see Steve trying to write something on our door in shaving cream. He ran off, I put Jeffrey away and ran down to meet Lauren with my silly string. We went to 319 and sprayed silly string on their pictures on their door and then hid b/c one of the RA's knocked on their door and told them she needed their IDs because she was gonna write them up and they got all freaked out but then she told them she was just kidding. We heard them telling her what had been happening all night, blaming everything on us lol, and we heard them tell her that the other slipper was in the dryer so we ran downstairs where we saw Steve with the slipper and he ran outside with it. So we went to the front door to see if he would come in and the boys called us and told us that if we wanted our stuff back we would have to go back to our room and wait for the next order. We came back up and made a sticky concoction on their door. THen we were called and told to get our slipper b/c it was being dried off in the dryers. We went and found it actually in the dryer and then went back up to the third floor w/our silly string again and one of the RAs told us they were looking for us so we ran and hid. They called us to make a truce and Lauren went back upstairs but I hid in an open common room and listened to them as they came out thinking they'd be talking about their plans and just walk up the stairs but Craig came over toward the garbage which was right outside of the room I was in. I came out cuz he would have seen me anyway and walked up to my room with them discussing the night. THey came up and we called a temporary truce cuz it was 3am at this point, haha. What a good night! Def. one of the best memories at Cortland.
