A Calgary man, Nicolino Camardi, could go to prison for only 18 months even though he inflicted terrible abuse on animals he had found on Kijiji.
Authorities found a dog and cat who had been methodically abused dumped in an alley, their mouths taped shut. The dead animals were traced to Camardi, who was arrested. He has been charged with causing unnecessary pain, suffering or injury willfully to an animal.
I just signed a Care2 petition telling the mayor of Calgary to make sure Camardi is brought to justice for his sickening crimes. Will you sign too? Here's a link to the petition:
