Well...

Good news for some of you, I might be doing the summer show next year. I started looking at the ISEP site again to see where I want to go. I already know that if I go into the southern hemisphere, I only want Costa Rica, so I'm looking at a school there and 5 in Mexico. So far the one in Costa Rica is still pretty appealing and one of the ones in Mexico seems pretty nice too. I guess I'll just make some deicisions soon and then talk to my advisor when I get back to school and see if she agrees with me. We'll see.

UPAEP's mission is to provide a solid foundation in a changing society and a better understanding of the cultural heritage that forms the Mexican national identity.

UPAEP's urban main campus facilitates collaboration between the community and students to dedicate a significant amount of time in out-reach activities carried out with local social service organizations, both rural and urban. Campus facilities include a fully equipped computer center, library center, film center, gymnasium, outdoor pool, and other sports facilities. The university is known for its basketball and soccer teams, and student groups are active in theater, dance, chorus, speech and debate, photography, and animation. Total university-level enrollment: 7,000.

Puebla was Mexico's second most important city from the 17th century until the early 1900s; the number of buildings dating from as early as the 16th century is outstanding. The concentration of pre-hispanic archaeological sites around the city and the region is one of the richest in the Americas. Puebla City is 90 miles southeast of Mexico City and a three hours' drive from Veracruz and the beach of the Gulf Coast. In 1985, Puebla was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its historic monuments and its varied cultural.

And now the Mexican one seems alot more appealing when I re-read it. I think I might go there...
