Eurovision 2014
Oooooooh!!!
I just realized...
Eurovision 2014 will start in exactly two weeks! *___*
I have no idea what country I should root for because I haven't listened to a single song yet... and maybe I shouldn't listen to anything until the show actually starts, because the more I listen to songs before the contest, the more biased I become and I feel I can't enjoy it properly. XD
It's a shame Turkey won't be participating, though. Turkey always had good songs.
At least Ukraine is still in. Ukraine has great songs, too.
Although I haven't listened to a single song, I can see on Wikipedia that most of the them are in English. THAT'S SO BORING!!! D: Kudos to Portugal, Montenegro, France, and Italy for not singing in English! And begrudging nods to Israel, Poland, Slovenia, and Spain for having at least part of their songs in their own languages...
ETA: Okay, just listened to Portugal's song, and wow, it's the first time ever that Portugal's song doesn't make me want to facepalm or fall asleep! O.O
