Hetalia community in Esperanto

May 13, 2013 01:03

I've just made a new community to post my Esperanto scanlations of Hetalia. :)

hetalio

Even if no one else finds it interesting, it's still a fun exercise!

Hello! Thank you for your comment! Of course I don't mind it at all. ^^

Haha! At first I kind of has trouble handling so many languages at the same time, but I've got used to it. I guess all you need is practice. What languages are you learning?

That's nice! Is Korean very hard to learn on your own? I know it has some similarities to Japanese, grammar-wise, so I don't suppose it's very easy. XD Though the writing system, if nothing else, is definitely simpler than the Japanese one...

And hey, maybe we could chat in French sometime. I learn it on my own, but I don't get to practice it much because I don't know any French speakers. ^^

I've been into Hetalia since 2009, when it was still relatively unknown and small. I'm still interested in it, but not as much as I used to be. The old stuff was just so much more interesting! :/ (Even though the design style wasn't as nice as it is nowadays...)

Yeah, that does sound very similar to Japanese grammar. And wow, you speak Vietnamese? That's so cool! ^^ It seems like such a difficult language, but I think it sounds very pretty.

Well, the strips and the manga have a lot of information and details that didn't make it to the anime series, so it's definitely worth a look. I find the strips a lot funnier than the anime. As for my favorite characters, they're Romano, Turkey, and Russia. :3

Yeah, I'm kind of a Japanese translator. I majored in it at uni and everything.

So, you're a US-born Vietnamese? That sounds pretty cool! I don't know much about Vietnamese culture or language, but from what I do know, it's really interesting! Some of my favorite songs are Vietnamese. ^^ But the tones seem even harder than in Chinese... At any rate, you're lucky you can speak it even though you were born and raised in the US! :3 Can you write in it, too?
