Trace turned and took a look around. There was no sign of Atem, Joey, or Varon. To make things worse, Keith had destroyed his bike, and The Imp was bound to return sooner or later. He winced and he heard the high pitched voice calling on arcane energies. "Damnit!" He jumped to the side as a flaming sphere tumbled past him. "Bandit! Take Schroeder on my bike. Taylor takes Moto! Go find them." He turned to the little devil that was now hovering and laughing evilly. A fire came to Trace's eyes and he began to glow with a red aura. "This one's mine" He said in a dark voice.

(OOC: Third Person POV)

Varon rode Odette as fast as he could. He could smell burning flesh and heard screams in the distance. He snapped the reigns as he yelled and leaned his body nearly flat against Odette's neck and head; lifting his body off the saddle much like a jockey would to cut back on wind resistance.

I'm comin' gouys, jus' hang in the'a. Varon's thoughts and actions became more urgent as he pressed on.

*looking up from his vantage point, he notices the sky turn an unusual shade of blue that looks almost green, looking toward the horizon then over his shoulder in time to slay a demon that tried to take the battle hardened god by surprise, cleaving the creature clean in half, then in one swift motions twists the blade sending it underhanded and behind him in time to run through another that tried to take him from his back, looking to Trace, his voice loud and forceful* We're going to have company! *spins around after removing the blade and in an upward diagonal swipe cutting another demon that tried to flank him, then in one swift downward and diagnal motion, maintaining his spin killing another, getting ready to cast a spell*

Trace dropped into a squat and held his hands shoulder height. His palms were facing the sky and his fingers were perpendicular to the ground. As soon as the four humans left the radius, he snapped his knees straight and pushed hi palms up to the sky. A huge wall of fire circled around the warmage and the demon, trapping them both inside. Trace focused his burning eyes on the imp. "Now I make you pay for my friends!"

*Zigfried's energy returned and he began to look around at the battlefield in front of him. He closed his eyes and began to meditate. He felt something stir within him that he began to feel stronger. He felt his ancestor's spirit stir within him, creating a new sense of balance and purpose. His aura began to glow a bright purple which strengthen the shield.

His eyes caught the glimpse of a wall of fire around Trace as concern wells in his chest* TRACE!!

*Yugi is torn on what to do and how to help. He telepathically tells Silent Swordsman to stick with Keith. As he does, he senses a familiar friend on his way to their group. The cloaking spell makes it difficult to sense who it is. He draws a magic card - Time Jump - and activates it to teleport the rider and horse directly tot he battle field.*

*was riding in the wilds and then suddenly is transported into the middle of battle, Odette rears up and he's knocked off his horse. He kicks up in a hurry and takes a defensive stance, turns around in time to Judo flip a demon off his back, spots Yugi and smiles* What's goin' on!?

*looks around in a bit of a daze, smile fades* Atem an' Joe are ten miles away. Both ar' in pretty bad shoape an' need help. I'll toake ya to 'em. Bring Ziggy with ya.

*heart sinks* That far... {Thinks: So, the Army's cloaking spell is even more powerful than before... Damn...} In a sec. I have an idea.

*closes his eyes, puts his hand on his deck, trusting it to help him, Eye of horus glows as he draws the top card, puts it in his disk without looking, opens his eyes* I activate the magic card "Dispell" to cancel out this cloaking spell of darkness!

*brilliant white and gold light shines from the card as it is revealed, begins to dissipate the spell, those who can sense others begin to feel the world around them, and the people, Red Gadget disappears as Yugi uses too much energy to keep him on the field, Yugi drops to one knee, voice still strong and clear* Dartz! We need your help to get to the others!

*catches Yugi before he falls, holding on to his shoulders then looks at Dartz*

*looks to Yugi and Varon, his body glowing from the fight and from the use of his magic, reaches Yugi's side* I'll teleport you there and stay as long as I can, but I am needed here. *looks into Varon's eyes, which causes the younger man to shrink back slightly* I have the destination. *in a blink of an eye, they are with Atem and Joey, Dartz sees the gravity of the situation and his eyes widen at the sight of his fallen friend* Atem! *runs to his side*

*looks around in shock, feeling that there is something terribly wrong and then is instantly teleported to a place away from the fight and turns around to see Dartz calling out Atem's name and instantly at his side, Zigfried is compelled to pull Dartz away but instead forms a sheild around the group, sealing them from Danger* I have it under control, Herr Dartz. I'll protect the group. You're needed to help Keith und Trace.

So it seems. *tilts his head with a smile* You have grow strong, young mage. *places a hand on Zigfried's shoulder and vanishes*

*once Dartz leaves, Ziggy sees the extent of Atem's injuries and runs to his side, falling to his knees, taking his hand* ATEM!!

*Atem is minutes away from his limit. His heart has slowed, and he can no longer hold a solid thought in his normally nimble mind. He cannot see even though his eyes are slightly open, lacking their crimson luster. The voice calling to him seems so far away. He can't feel the person as they hold his hand. He tries to make a fist to concentrate, but only manages to weakly curl his fingers around Zigfried's hand. He tries to speak, but can't even cough out the blood collecting in his throat.*
