*clearly confused* Yugi? Since when did you ever strike anyone? *only remembers the Yugi he knew, the latest memory was Battle City, feeling as if he doesn't know anyone but can only recognize their faces at best*
*sighs* This really isn't like me, Kaiba-kun. I've never done something like that before! It just... seemed like the right thing to do at the time! There was something about Omar that made me think that he would really hurt Grandpa!
*thinks back to a time when Kaiba nearly killed Grandpa, and how he [Yugi] simply let Atem handle it* You know that Grandpa means a lot to me. I'm trying to judge better ways of defending people in dire situations, without relying of someone else all of the time.

*opens his eyes, happy, relieved, and a bit sad at the same time* You know, you may not have your memories, but you are still Kaiba-kun. Your heart is stronger than it once was, and you are a better man for it. I know things will be alright for you!
*sighs as he closes his eyes, a small smile coming to his lips* You seem as optimistic as ever. Memories or no memories, if losing them means becoming a better person, then it's worth the pain. *opens his eyes slowly* It's too bad that you can't recall everything for me. *smile fades slightly* But then what good would that be if you had my memories. I'll find a way to remember the life I once had.
*smirks* After all, I am Seto Kaiba. No one takes my life away from me and thinks that I'm going to take it laying down. I never go without a fight! *resolve burning in his eyes*
