Weekend Update
So, another lovely weekend. Friday, I hung out with Chris for a bit up in Reading.
Saturday, we went to brunch at Geoffrey's in Roslindale with George Bailey and Jenny. They're super cool and we had a great time. The food was nutty good. We started off with a cinamon bun drizzled in cream cheese frosting and a sugar-covered donut muffin. Yes. Donut Muffin. Back home, we picked up a bit here and there, and then Amanda went off to her concert. I went over later to enjoy the show. It was the Spring concert for the Somerville Community Chorus. Good performance and as usual, Amanda's solos were gorgeous. Back home, we watched Lmiam Neeson in Taken, very cheesy action flick.
Sunday, I was supposed to go to Grafton to help my parents move some shrubs, but they called it off due to the weather and they were tired. I picked up and replaced my dome light lamp and unrooted a massive shrub for Pam and Nicki. Amanda made her famos chili and we pretty much chilled out.
This morning, I wasn't feeling to hot, so I'm working from home. The NSTAR guy came by to do an energy inspection of the premises. I guess a portion of our monthly bill goes towards this program, which is great. He said we had great windows and insulation, and if we didn't, they would install insulation and weatherize the windows. And he replaced some lightbulbs with energy efficient ones, left us some extra, and replaced our shower nozzle with lower flow one. What a great program! An energy company that's actively pursuing lower energy costs for its customers. I love it!
