Thanksgiving was pretty OK despite the state relocation. I left wednesday morning after my one VC class and there was no traffic. I had to drive to a car mechanic place in Bordentown to get my tires replaced and my 'shimmy' fixed. I was there for about two hours maybe. I walked next door to Anthony's Pizza and got hit on by Anthony himself! It was kind of creepy, but I tried to be sweet and humor him. I got out of there quickly and sat in the waiting area of the car place and did my book of word searches. When my car was finally done, I drove it to the wawa, bought a magazine, and waited another hour for my mom to get out of school. I had to follow her to our new house, since i had no idea how to get there.
We got there (and it's my old house actually..the one I grew up in) and said Hi to grandpop. He looks so awful. He's so sick and skinny. He can barely talk because one of his vocal chords is paralyzed. yikes. I got unpacked and saw my room. My mom set it up pretty nicely..it's got the computer, futon, and TV. It's fine. We went in the basement to do laundry and I found a bunch of grandpop's old art work. He's the reason why I'm artistic (my mom isn't at all). His stuff was from 1947. There were a lot of nude model sketches and watercolor portraits. They were so good! During dinner I tried to talk to him about it, but he just kind of smiled and nodded. He's deteriorating. He doesn't even care to talk about anything anymore. He was completely fine and normal last summer..and now he's a different person. Then my mom told me emma died, so that wasn't fun either.
The next morning we woke up early and drove to shawnee. My mom dropped me off at medport where I met up with Ryan and we had ham and cheese omelets =) Then we drove to his parent's house and I got to see the family again. Alyssa is 7 now and so cute!! I haven't seen her in about two years i think. I loved his mom, she looked really stressed and tired though. They invited me for thanksgiving dinner..that was so nice, but we had reservations to a fancy restaurant. Then Ryan and I drove to the Lenape game. I sat through the first half with Geoff and Katie Howarth, while Ryan advertised for cutco. The game was boring and I was freezing, so I went and walked around with ryan. It was a pretty good time, and he gave me a box of chocolates =D so sweet.
Then my mom and I pretty much had to leave right away to go back to PA, get changed, and leave for Penn's Landing. We ate at this restaurant that's in a boat, called Moshulu. It was the fanciest restaurant i've ever been to! I had the best soup EVER..butternut squash. I had a turkey dinner, and it was sooo good. The meal for all three of us came out to $190!. It was nice to actually have money though. Well not me, but Aaron and mom. THEN we all went to my family's party for dessert. It was pretty boring and uneventful.
Friday was shopping! I went to this awesome store called Anthropologie and got a very pretty outfit that totaled over $100. Then we went to DSW and King of Prussia mall. It was so hectic, but fun. I ran into some lady and said "Jesus!" and then the lady screamed "move, bitch!!". hahahah. fun. Then we went to Aaron's house and ordered food and watched the Weeping Camel. It was actually pretty interesting and funny. It was nice, aaron's pretty cool. I approve.
saturday my mom and I just went to see Rent and then I went back to DE and had fun with Brian for the rest of the weekend. And Jimmy got a bunny for the house! Its so cute!
