Everything in the past 3 months
yeah so i've been way too busy this summer to update, so i'll try to be brief.
Camp got rough in weeks 6 and 7...two girls in particular were tougher to handle than the others, and there was lots of frustration. The last week of camp was pretty good, though, and the last day was great. The girls were all upset to leave us and we had a few criers =*) Got some really good tips, woo! Recently i've been IMd by a couple of my campers, which is always humorous.
From my last day of camp I came straight to DE for band camp. We were housed in Dickinson which is like ten feet from the train tracks..so when a train went by at night, it sounded like the world was ending. Band camp was very productive, we learned the entire show... James Bond, Live and Let Die, Sanchez, and El Gato Triste. I'm really excited for indoor guard though, i know what the music is..its going to be a pretty show, as opposed to crazy hoe-down on crack. Oh, and I got the best tan ever.
I live in ray street now, which is sooo nice. I love it. We have a cool view out the window too, it looks like the rainforest or something. Brian lives in a house now, and its always fun to hang out over there. There's almost always a party every weekend there. Brian still needs to buy a bigger bed so we can have sleepovers because twin beds do not work. It's really fun getting closer to the roommates and their girlfriends. We had the best party last night that got so crazy..and half of us weren't even drinking.
And I got to see The Used in concert two nights in a row!!! the first night was at the House of Blues in Atlantic City two nights ago. The venue was really nice. Brian and I snuck up to the balcony area and had a great view of the stage. We also got to hear 30 seconds to mars play..the lead singer is Jared Leto, so they were pretty good. Last night the show was in DE at Kahunaville. It was a pretty small venue so I was really determined to get up to the very front. It was the same lineup and everything from the night before. I forced my way up to the very front and center and it was awesome. Hah except for the fist fight that broke out right behind me...except that's one reason why i got up so close to the stage. It was a great show and the used played TWO encore songs when they only played one the night before.
So far school is ok..nothing too hectic yet...but that will soon change.
