Reflecting...
I've noticed that I've been observing and admiring the place I've called home for the past 3 years. My roommates and I keep saying how we wish we did this and that, how much we love our apartment. The truth is that we only have one quarter left together. I'm gonna miss my own room, my own bathroom, the way our apartment has become like Monica's in "Friends", the coziness that the living room feels like...::::Sigh:::...
I never really took the time to appreciate how beautiful Vista Del Campo is. I'm lucky I've always had priority to live here when so many people camp out for a chance to claim a room in these apartments. I've also just been staring out my window and trying to remember every bit of the scenery. Irvine really is just a beautiful little bubble and I know soon enough, I'll be from the outside looking in again.
It's Finals week and I'm at the home stretch of it, but I can't help by get distracted by the simpleness of what I have around me. Great friends to stay up late with, food runs at night, coffee conversations in the morning, the sound of all our alarms being put on snooze at least a few times each. Those are the small things I'll miss.
My roommates and I established this morning that we're going to make this a FUN QUARTER. The ultimate quarter (double meaning)! Bittersweet I tell u....
