(no subject)
I don't know if you can tell in this 2nd photo, but my new plugs are AWESOME. I'm so happy to have organic plugs again. And a total steal for under $5 on ebay. What a dream...
So, I'm sure you've all heard me rant about what an asshole my cat is. We've had him since we rescued him from a warehouse at 4 weeks of age. We've done nothing but shower him with love and treat him like a prince. But he's been an ASSHOLE sometimes. He ruined the Christmas tree last year. He shredded a corner on my couch, he peed on things randomly despite the cleanliness of his litter box... he wouldn't even acknowledge us during the day and would stay hidden when we have guests. He even peed on my friends purse... how embarrassing.
Well, I don't know what changed, but in the past couple of months, he's been warming up to us. We're approaching his 2nd birthday at the beginning of Feb and he's just been a complete doll lately. We start every morning with him pushing open the bathroom door while I'm getting ready. The we meow back and forth at each other a while. Then he leads me to the kitchen where I feed him as he meows with excitement.
When I get home from work, he comes out of hiding and meows happily. He even gets up on the couch or bed for petting. (unheard of even a few months ago)...
He jumps in bed and snuggles with us. He jumps up on the couch and snuggles and wants to be pet. He even comes up to our guests for loving and attention. He was NEVER an affectionate cat and there were times I just remember being SO MAD at him that I wanted to punch him in his big dumb adorable face. (note: I could never punch a cat... even though he peed on a bag of powdered sugar sitting on my dining room table.)
Well, anyhow, he's been a complete joy lately!
He's been SO good, in fact, we plan to reward him. Next week we're going to order this:
Sort of birthday gift for him :)And a thank you for being such a sweetie pie. I think he'll love it. It's a total cat palace and it's over 6 feet tall. We're such hams we even considered having a house warming party for him and inviting our friends over :)
