I need a second to breath...

I've been so busy. I feel like I'm on auto-pilot. Like... hungover zombie autopilot.

Friday I left work early to go get my hair done. I needed to be at work at the bar at 8:30 and I don't usually get off at the music store until 6:00. I wouldn't have been at the salon til 6:30.
So, I get there at 4:30, perfect. We get my hair wrapped...

I was getting a Pravana Beach Wave Perm. All it does is give your hair a natural looking wave texture. It turned out pretty much awesome. We had a great time at the salon and while she was working on my hair I got a text saying that there was a scheduling issue at work and that I was actually not working that night! I was ridiculously happy to hear this. The girls were going out that night. Stoked.

Then we pulled my hair down and rinsed and did a bit of light drying with a diffuser.

Love it. I've never had any real texture to my hair. It's so fun. This weekend, we're dying it a deep mahogany.

Well, we went out that night and hung out with Chelsea. It was so great to see her! We went to Blind Bob's and had drinks and laughed and talked forever. It was great. So much fun. We went to C-Bar to end the night. I have some of the greatest friends around.

Saturday, I worked at the bar. I sat inside and I'll say it was kind of lame. I was really tired and I felt like being inside made my job a lot harder. It was cold out, but I think I'd rather be cold. As soon as my shift was over I just went home.

Yesterday...

we rode the scooter all over. It was so pretty outside. I just adore the fall. It was actually ridiculously warm. It was like 70 out. We didn't even have to wear jackets. We went to the pet store and bought a harness/pouch that attaches to my chest that Eddy could ride in lol. He LOVED being on the scooter. He was so comfortable that at one point he started to doze off.

Last night was the benefit for Nick Aycock, the guy I mentioned a while ago who got into the ATV wreck. Brian's band played along with The Story Changes and Sound for Language. There were raffles and drink specials and it was packed. We had a lot of fun and it was like 2005 or something. It was all the people I used to hang out with back in the day at Wings. That was our bar. It's where I always saw Nick, so it was nice to be there with everyone thinking about him.

I drank too much though lol. Not feeling so hot today. But, here we are, another week beginning. We'll see what happens this time around!
