Scooter days

So, I was going to have to sell my baby. I was worried because I don't have a parking space at the Cannery. The parking lot is $50 a month and the parking garage is $75 a month. It's kind of bullshit. Like, totally bullshit. I don't have that kind of money to park something I paid $900 for.

Brian was putting pressure on me about it and the only real solution was to sell the damn thing. I didn't want to do that. I love my scooter! It was so awesome driving back and forth to work last year.

Well, my ex, Fletcher, came into my store the other day. Which was weird. He's not a musician. He was surprised to see me working there and I was surprised to see him there. We talked for a while. He still works at his mom's bar, right down the street from the bar I work. After a while, he left, but he came back a few days later. He mentioned he had a scooter. I was excited! I told him I had one, but then I remembered I was going to have to sell it. So I told him that. He told me that was stupid. He said he has a garage behind his mom's bar and I can park it there! It's only a couple of blocks from my loft, so I was really excited about this solution.

I forgot how much fun he was to hang out with. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of each other this summer. I always forget he's like the only guy I ever dated that I can still stand. We didn't really break up, I don't think. We just kind of realized we were always more like best friends than boyfriend and girlfriend. I mean, when we dated it was like 7th, 8th and 9th grade. I think it was more so we'd just have someone to hold hands and make out with and call boyfriend/girlfriend lol.

One of my first LJ posts had him in it haha

Good times.

Anyhow, he and I seem to go in and out of phases where we're in each other's lives and maybe this is another in phase. Guess we'll see what happens. I know he and Brian would get a long great. Maybe. They're both sarcastic fucks.

Other than that, the cake I'm making this weekend, I'm SUPER excited about. I'm making a cake similar to the one I just made. It's going to be two tier, covered in wafers, but it's going to have white chocolate curls instead of dark chocolate. It's also going to have some lavender roses and the ribbons are going to be lavender. Basically, it's going to be lovely, simple and decadent. I'm really exited about this. And it's a paid cake! Yaay!

Right now, Brian has some friends over and we're watching The Matrix. One of these guys has never seen it. WTF?
