super sunday

So, I feel like I did a lot today. I drove all over looking for art supplies early this morning. McCallister's is closed. Which is so sad because it was the cornerstone art supply store in Dayton since before I was even born :/
I didn't want to drive out to the mall area, Hobby Lobby isn't open on Sunday's and I couldn't justify going to Yellow Springs, though I wanted to. I went to several store like Wal Mart and Staples... which was pointless and frustrating. I was getting mad and decided to go to the art museum. I haven't been in a long time and I wanted to clear my head. I went in and felt a lot better right away. Having my face two inches from Monet's "Water Lilies" does something for me. I love that it's not even covered with glass. It's part of the ArTour stuff, so it won't be there forever... it's uhm... on tour lol.

I lingered in the Japanese art section forever. I sunk into one of the plush benches and just stared at the giant Buddha statue for a while. It was a calming little moment.

After I left the art museum, I drove out to the damn mall and went to Michael's craft store. I found everything I needed there and more. I even bought some art supplies for my niece Tori, because I love encouraging her to create.

After that I went to my mom's to explain Paypal to her. It was like... trying to explain rocket science to a toddler. Not to mention the woman has dial up. The internet on my phone is LITERALLY faster than on her computer.

After that, I felt the need to shop... I bought a little black dress and some amaaaazing boots.

I'm stupid excited about both.

Then we went to Jeff and Lisa's house. The baby wasn't much for hanging out, she has some jaundice and needs to stay in her bed with this creepy light thing...

I did get to hold her a little bit though.

Sophia was being so freaking cute! She was sooo excited when we showed up she was squealing and jumping up and down and giving me hugs. She was so happy. She wanted to play the whole time.
basically the cutest thing EVER.

three boxers lol... such big dogs!

Some shit on the super bowl about 3-d glasses, I dunno, I wasn't watching. But Brian and his brother looked silly.

Yeah, so fun times. I'm going to try to draw now!
