Purchases
Well... I've once again decided to rewatch my Friends DVDs and I only have the first two (big accomplishment huh?) seasons so I have like, 6 more to get (of the ones that are already released).
So, here is what I intend to buy this year as far as DVDs go.
Friends
-Seasons 3-4--- $29.99/ea
-Seasons 5-7--- $36.99/ea
-Season 8 --- $35.99
Season 9 comes out this March so yay!
So yeah, on Friends alone, I will be spending $221.43 including tax. Technically, I can afford this because I have $600+ in the bank thanks to Christmas but I don't want to completely deplete my savings just for DVDs so I will probably break it up and buy maybe one season a month until I finish. Also, I can count on getting some of them for my birthday I'm sure.
The next series I want to start and complete is Sex and the City.
Those are freakin' expensive!
Sex and the City
-Season 1--- $33.99
-Season 2-6--- $41.99
Sex and the City will cost me a total of $261.02 with tax. However, when I was at Sams, I saw that they were selling all of the seasons for only $27.98 which will save me about $81.39. Hopefully I can get started on that soon as well.
Lastly, I want to complete my Dawson's Creek collection but they've yet to release Seasons 5 and 6. I have the first four.
Basically, if I want to get these things by the end of the year, I will have to seriously rethink how I spend my money but it's not going to be a big deal either way. If I don't get it, then I don't.
