"The pigeon shit was not the hiss"

So, instead of spending my Saturday night going out and having a drink and a dance and a good time like normal 23 year olds, I spend my Saturday night watching Hawking a drama about, shockingly, Steven Hawking. Why, I hear you ask? Well, aside from Benedict Cumberbatch, who is awesome and superfly, it was fully loaded with Tom Ward goodness. Well, ( Read more... )

benedict cumberbatch, hawking, tom ward, too many toms

Thank you, I'm so glad you liked it! You really should see it if you get chance; I was a little disappointed that there wasn't enough Tom in it, but then again I'm shallow enough that there could be a whole programme just of his face and there wouldn't be enough =P Glad I made you giggle as well =D x

I LOVE you for this. Tom looks soooo cute with that baby....gorgeousness on a plate. Not sure about the green jumper/tie combo however. Is this a new movie/drama thing or has it been on the go a while?? Where can I watch it....dvd??

I know right?! I looove the jumper, but then again I've always liked a good jumper =P It's definitely not new, in fact it's pretty old-it was first on in 2004, and was a one off TV movie. You can get it on DVD, it's 12 quid from Play.com and has a pretty long expected delivery date (1-2 weeks). I acquired it via slightly more dubious means ;-)

Thank you! It is a pretty good drama, even without Tom being in it (Although I think Benedict Cumberbatch being in a bath helped. I'm nothing if not shallow). Definitely worth a watch though; Tom doesn't show up for about half an hour mind you. I've posted a Youtube link in an earlier comment to someone else that should have the whole thing on it

I love this movie, and Penrose is just a fabby character, more supportive the Sciama, whose supposed to to be supporting Stephen.

With my, very, basic understanding off broad physics theory I found the station/BANG! to be a bit spin tingley.

It's the moment he goes from Stephen Hawking struggling student, to Prof. Stephen Hawking LEG-END!!
There may have been a bit of stuff in between.

In other news are you going to the planned sherlockbbc London meet-up at the end of Jan?
I'll be going regardless, just be nice to see you again.

I basically only watched it for Penrose. My obsession with Tom Ward knows no bounds
Not going to the Sherlock meetup I'm afraid, am starting my next teaching job in a couple of weeks and am just going to be crazy busy right through till it finishes in February. Which is a shame, cos I totes wanted to go and flail with the fangirls =P

I'm not sure I've seen him in anything else, but I can see the appeal.

Oh that is a shame, but hey teaching!! :D

I'm glad that's working out for you, it's nice to see peoples dreams coming true.
