Wellllllllll the midnight showing of Twilight was pretty fun, actually. We got there at 12:30pm, and we had foldy chairs, blankets, food, and Becca's laptop which we plugged into the lamp pole. XDDD; While we were waiting we watched Mulan, Pretear, Lilo and Stitch, and Thumbalina. x3 It was really fun. We were the second group in line. 8D;
I was expecting it to suck so hard, considering what I'd seen in the previews, and I honestly didn't want to see it very much. I was pleasantly surprised. As far as books-turned-movies go, I think they handled it pretty well. Bella was a bit monotone at times, but for the most part it worked. I had heard some of the music before, and I wasn't really sure that it was going to work, but it really fit the movie. I was also happy with how everyone was cast.
Overall, it wasn't an amazing movie, but it wasn't super bad. They cut out and combined a lot of scenes, but that is to be expected in a movie adaptation. The books are of course better, but this is just kind of like a nice little add-on to the experience of the books. It definitely made me want to read the books again, at any rate.
NOW THEN, CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE HARRY POTTER PREVIEW?????

I'm going to the library in a little while to hopefully take out the books, if they have them.
