(no subject)
Oh my goodness, I forgot how much I adore V for Vendetta! I only saw it once before, and I wanted to go out right away and buy it, but I never got to. We watched it tonight, and V was just as amazing as ever. The part at the end is so powerful, when the entire country comes out as V. But ohhhh gosh I love the romance between V and Evey. And oh my goodness a man with a vocabulary is so sexy!
This movie makes me want to go out and read all the classic literature and watch all the old movies and increase my vocabulary, which, of course, I want to do already, but I want to do a lot of things.... Oh priorities.
Unfortunately, I think it's only cool when a guy has a vocabulary like that. D: Alas. My efforts will be in vain. It'll just make me look stuck up. Woe.
And then of course there's my love of internet slang. Zomigosh! Oh em gee! Ehl oh ehl! For the winz!
And the fact that I live in southern california, and we all, like, say the word "like," every, like, other word! Usually it really doesn't bother me all that much, it's just part of the local "dialect," if you will. And it actually really bothers me when teachers get on you for that. Like counting the number of times you say "like." Get over yourselves, I'm sure that teachers in the south don't get mad at their students for using weird local words like "y'all" and a bunch of others I can't even remember because they were so weird... If they write like that, sure, but otherwise, it's just a manner of speaking.
Bah. It must be weird for you all to read my entries... I love using words and phrases that I love, so my posts must all contain a mixture of old, proper words, random 1337 sp34k, and other weird stuff all mixed together. Some even right next to eachother. Lol!
Anywhoz, I guess I'll just not worry about it. I'll learn as much vocabulary as I feel like and use whatever whenever just as I have been doing.
I do think I'd like to randomly fall into a Brittish accent every once in a while, though. How fun! :3
And I need to start using my brain and remembering quotes and the like. Yus!
I think I'll go find some icons now. :3
