I got a message from Twyla saying I should update. The last time I have updated was way back October 7th so I suppose I should.
Last Fri, Sat and Sun my father spent the weekend with Kiri and I. It was great to see him again. The last time we saw him was not so long ago but over the past 7 months I think weve only seen him twice. He also brought Patches with him! I was so excited to see her...Kiri broke down in tears. We havent seen her in a little over a year (14 months) since my mom dropped her off at the pound. My dad and Dianne "secretly" adopted her and my mom still does not know till this day that my father has her. Its better that way.
We went out to East Side's friday night and cought up on some old times. Saturday we went shopping at the mall to pick up some much needed presents and dad bought me some lovely Body Shop perfumes (the mix and 'creat your own' kind) and some shimmering cinnamon lotion. Dad hadnt yet bought me a Christmas present and he got me a Nintendo DS :D Unfortunately it had some problems receiving hi-fi connections with other Nintendo DS's so Im gonna trade it off for another.
Sunday dad took the Vespa out for a long ride and the predictable happened. It broke down on him on highway 7 near the Guelph aeroport. He had to walk it all the way back to my place. Stupid machine and stupid mechanics who cant correctly fix a simple 2 cylindre bike. It seems like people these days dont learn anything in college, just go through it to get a degree and once they receive their credentials in under a year they are qualified and knowledgeable enough to fix anything. If the mechanics at Mitsubishi cant fix a simple bike then there must be something seriously wrong. I feel bitter.
Tomorrow is the big day when I leave for Vancouver. Im gonna be spending my Christmas there and wont be back until the 30th. Everything is packed and ready to go. Now if only I can finish the first volume of my book quartet I can bring the second volume and have more pages to read for the long flight :)
