After 5 years of hiatus...
I admit, for the past 5 years (or ever since we moved here) I have been in hiatus from cosplay and anime in general. Most of my collection I left back home in the Philippines (I'm still hoping it's all in one piece) and I rarely watched anime nor took part in any convention aside from the Big Apple Anime Festival (BAAF) last 2003.
For the past month, thanks to you-tube and e-bay, I have watched/bought the complete episodes of Ranma 1/2, InuYasha, Witch Hunter Robin, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gundam 00, and Escaflowne. So my addiction/fascination was rekindled.

Thanks to Hazel C.'s invitation, she informed me of an upcoming Anime Convention (New York Anime Festival) that will be held at the Javitz Center in Manhattan...
So after a 5 year break... I'm planning to cosplay again... dragging along my friends (some from Starbucks) into cosplaying...
It's weird but... There's this feeling of excitement that I haven't felt in a long, long, looong time.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand to top it off, Yoshitaka Amano will be the main guest of the convention *_* squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeals

Sayang walang Cargins (sp?) dito nor Divisoria... lol... I miss those trips...
