You look so good. I didn't even recognize you in the first picture. It's so easy to gain the weight and so hard to lose it, so I applaud you. 30 lbs is a huge loss. So any tips besides eat less and move more?
Thanks Geneva! I hate that first pic of me so much. It was hard to even put it up here.
I joined Weight Watchers in April just on a fluke, really. A friend was joining and asked me if I wanted to. After I lost about 15 pounds, I started exercising - treadmill/walking, biking, yoga, zumba, etc. I also started drinking a cup (literally 8 ounces) of coffee in the morning. It sped up my metabolism a bit and gave me more energy for exercise, without interrupting my sleep. I don't think it's been as effective lately, so I'm probably going to wean myself off of it and save it as a tool in my arsenal if I need it later on. Going to try to lose another 20 by next summer!
Sarah, you look gorgeous! Looks like you did a fabulous job channeling all the negative stuff of this past year into making yourself healthier! Well done, most people (me included) would just eat and mope around!
Thanks, I sure did! I have to say I took some pretty sour lemons and made some damn good lemonade this year. I don't know how I did it other than divine intervention, frankly.
Thanks Tiffany! I have to say, if you hadn't asked me to join WW with you, this all might have never happened. That really kick started me with an awesome foundation for weight loss.
