I've been hit by a wave of nostalgia (?) after watching the crappy live-action.
I ended up youtube-ing and wiki-ing information about it. LOL. I was only 7 or something when I watched the series, so I don't really remember much about the story. So it was nice reading the info and watching clips I've never seen before. I actually never watched the entire anime series or read in the middle of the manga. In fact I think only watched a couple of DB when it was on tv and then most of the movies in Cantonese dub. But for some reason, my cousin and sisters and I were so obsessed with the series...we hung up so many posters, bought the mangas, cinemanga, and A LOT of trading cards. In the end, I never really understood the series lol. Well there's not much deepness to get since it just powering up and people coming back from the dead. But still~~
And then it started dying off by middle school when I got into Pokemon, Digimon and Evangelion.
I noticed they had Dragon Ball Kai being aired this season. The opening is so awesome!! The content however is not even remade ): I ended up watching that new animation that came out in 2008. Nice to see it updated.
Started off wondering how Vegeta and Bulma got together. I still don't get it. Then read something about Bulma and Yamcha were a couple that broke up. And then I went onto looking at some pretty Yamcha tributes. The 1996 movie was nicely done. I liked him b/c of his awesome mullet hair!! haha.. He was the Ryoga-type XD;; Then I read something about his hair changes relating to Gohan's hair style. So checked on the how Goku and Chichi got married which felt like out of the blue and Goku didn't even know what he was asking. To checking on Gohan baby and then everything on Gohan. GOHAN!!! <3 My favorite character before he became a freakin wimp later on. His preteen was the best years XD;; I remember my sisters and I were pissed when we saw his appearance in GT. (WTF is that ugly get up!!)
