Only the cool kids have stalkers.

My left (sprained) ankle is pretty much back to normal. I'm missing a few centimeters of flexibility compared with my good right ankle but apart from that it's all good - no pain, only a small amount of swelling. And today was my last trip to the physio. I've still got some exercises to do over the next few weeks but I should be back in the mosh pit in no time! (just in time for the festival season)

Ummm... what else has been going on? It feels like a while since I last update on "my life". There's a fair amount of normality and routine to my life at the moment, especially at work. It's something that's been missing from my life for a long time. I'm particularly proud of how much I have managed to streamline my mornings (yes it really is the little things that matter):
6:30am - wake up
7:11am - train from Padstow to Central
7:50am - train from Central to Chatswood
8:15am - arrive at Chatswood
I've had a lot of really fun weekends lately... I love being back in Sydney! Every weekend is just awesome fun times.

I went to Randwick Races with the work crew. Yeah that was a while ago. I've got some great photos floating around somewhere that I will have to upload. It was a freezing cold day and I didn't win any money but was still great fun.

A couple of weekends ago it was random hangouts at Cronulla with Carley, Chippy and co. Great to chill out and drink a few frozen margaritas. If you haven't checked out Beach Burrito Company yet you should probably make it your number 1 priority for the week. I'm not kidding.

It feels like a photographer from This Way In is stalking Sally (work colleague / current partner in crime for all things gig and party related) and I a bit lately. Turning up where ever we go out. Coincidence? I think not.

Friday night I saw Dave McCormack at the Annandale. 90s nostalgia. He played a few Custard songs and I found myself wanting to go back in time. Can't wait to see the full band at Meredith. On Friday he was delightful... yes he has aged a bit... but it was still fabulous.

P.S. That video won the ARIA for best video in 1999!

I was in Coogee yesterday for fania birthday... and what a lovely day! Truly felt like summer. Sitting back and enjoying the afternoon sun and the cool ocean breeze.

Oh I got new glasses! Finally. After 3 visits to the optometrist and after trying on every pair twice I finally made a decision. Cough, cough... Gemma Dilemma... Gemdilem. Anyway, check this out (don't I look nerdy / cool / something):

Speaking of gemdilem... (awesome segway action)... I've been playing around with the new wordpress template a bit lately. I'm not sure where exactly I'm going with this (mostly I just enjoy mucking around with code and learning new things). Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think: http://gemdilem.com

Over and out.
