I know you lot are sick of hearing about it by now, srsly. I'm sick of dealing with it.
I really don't know what the problem is. Sometimes, like now, the internet works perfectly fine.
Sometimes, it works slower than dial up, and my IMs won't work and nothing will load.
Still other times, the modem won't even boot up so that the cable light is steady. Or if it does, the lights don't dance and nothing works anyway.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I've called and called the cable company, supposedly we have a technician coming out this afternoon. Who knows, srsly.
Do any of you have any idea what could be wrong? Any suggestions for what I could do to solve this very, very, VERY frustrating problem? I would really appreciate it.
I mean in a "I'll write/icon/do something for you because my internet works properly again" kind of way.
Because this is the last straw that I don't need right now. I have enough on me with school and job hunting (ineffectively and not well, it seems). This is my outlet and my only connection to my good friends. Yes, I'm addicted to it a bit as well -- but when your two best friends and most of your other friends are halfway across the country or worse, then you might be desperate to fix it too.
