Title: Not Just Another Blonde Joke
Rating: PG (the mildest thing I've written in a very long time)
Subject: pre-show, a bit AU
Summary: A blonde walks into a bar; you'd think she would have seen it coming. Expanded.
Disclaimer: I do not own Wicked, Galinda, Elphaba, a Dog, Same Sex Kiss Day, or the lovely place that Ozbucks is based off of. I am ( Read more... )

Oh, I think this is just wonderful. If you were to choose to continue, it could go all sorts of places. Your tone is so much fun....think about it. I like these sassy co-eds...you could take them places the other gelphie stories haven't been yet and a few where they have proven to be quite compatible...I'm just say'n.

haha, I'm not really writing Wicked much anymore. I have an AU multi-chap which I might add a bit too, but that's it as far as I can see. It's been a year since I've seen the show now! Wow.
Thank you so much for reviewing. I'll keep that in mind.

Ooo! I love this! I love the voice in your writing and I think you wrote Elphaba's personality perfectly! The narration at the beginning is amazing too. :D

Gelphie just speaks to me haha.
I'm really surprised to hear the beginning narration comment, haha, I hate beginnings.

Now I'm sitting here at my computer, totally astounded by this review of yours. It made me smile so much to read this. I always just listen to whatever my lovely brain tells me to write and just let the characters go where they please.
Haha, I didn't even know there was a such thing as "hand pornography" (it makes me feel pretty bad-s for writing it.)

Thank you :) I laughed while writing. I think if it doesn't make me laugh, or at least smile, while writing it (where I'm supposed to be in tune with all the characters) then how is it going to make others laugh?
Methodical? How so?

I apologize for not continuing this. All I can say is that I write GLEE fanfics, if maybe you like that show you could try checking that out. :) I've kind of gotten over writing Wicked. All I have left for this fandom would be an AU Gelphie that gets pretty crazy.... not the same voice for the story though. -shrug-

I will second what Vampire_cookies wrote! Audacious Glinda, hand pornography (thank you vampire cookies for introducing me to this phrase) and randomness = awesome. I mean Ozbucks of all places. But there is something wonderful about the voice/tone of your narrative.

i have to wonder what your mysterious green woman was doing there on same-sex kissing day when she is trying to be alone, which i can only guess is her intent based on her initial brush off, but maybe she is just playing hard to get?

"You might not want to do that," she says over her book.

"Is the chair broken?" I ask.

Loved that. Straight-faced hilarity is indeed the best.

Same-Sex Kiss Day takes place at Starbucks throughout the country, so I did not venture far for the story.

The intentions of "this mysterious green woman" shall forever remain a question.
