Elphie rules at being heart-broken and heart-BREAKING. *huggles my Baby's writing* I, on the otherhand, can't do it, lol. In real life and in fanfics, I CANNOT put up a fight. So I'm glad you liked that part of it...in a way, lol.

YES, Gelphie should be the source of all our English essays. I'd pass that class with straight A's! :D ..."Of Mice And Men"? What grade are you in?? *I* haven't even read that!! O.O;

And I hope you still continue to love it. My writing becomes a little suckish in coming parts while Elphie continues to flourish. :P

I'm gonna be a senior this year. My English teacher has mentioned the book once or twice, but I've never read it... We've had to read October Sky and The Ox-Bow Incident (*GAGS*) this year. Trust me. It doesn't get ANY better. -_-

Oh, Elphie. I think my heart actually broke for her right there. Such a perfect way of expressing everything that drives her, and everything that she's trying to hide. Of course she can't have everything she wants, and she thinks she has to make up for it in other ways like study... but if only she could figure out what she really *does* want... (coughGalindacough), then maybe she'd learn that her green skin really isn't so bad as she thinks.

And I couldn't help being angry at Galinda, but she melted me with "Elphaba might come home soon, Galinda couldn’t help but think. It surprised her how one moment she could hate the girl so fiercely, yet in another she could be so concerned about her…" This calls for a fluffy reunion chapter I think.

Oh and the ending? Beautiful, and perfect. =)

She just needs someone to show her that she IS beautiful so that she won't care about the color of her skin, yeah. Galinda's starting to get to the point where she wants to try becoming friends with Elphie, so I guess that's a start. ^_^

Lol, I'm not so sure about fluffy, but the next one will patch things up between them...sorta. :P But of course, we're just now getting from "Loathing" to approaching "I Think I Kinda Like You, Let's Be Friends", so that's to be expected, right?

I'm glad you're liking it so far; I'll bet you anything that Elphie is too. :D

I love the foreshadowing part with the stinging eyes, and how Elphie gets mad but she doesn't know why... :D

And the end part was amazing as well. This was such a heart breaking chapter. But great at the same time. Ahhhhh I'm addicted. It's not so great because it makes me depressed that they are fictional characters... but I love reading it. XD
