Okay, so I saw The Village today, and well...

yeah, i didnt like it that much...it actually kinda sucked LOL

like the suspense wasnt really suspenseful...it was like blah...and i dunno, i guess i expected it to be waayy suspenseful, like the director's last move, Signs...u kno? the plot was ssssoo DUMB and predictable (well the ending lol)...and

I saw it on Friday, and to tell you the truth, I was a bit disappointed too. I think it may have all been due to the hype built up, and the scifi channels documetary(?) also. It did have it's "Hitchcock" moments though, and I have to admit the twist at the end, was a little bit unexpected by me as well. I'd still reccommend it for entertainment purposes anyway.

White Chicks "was" hilarious! I really didn't think I'd like it but I went to see it anyway. It was a bit refreshing to see the roles reversed in the "stupid race" perceptions, lol

Have you seen I, ROBOT yet? or The Bourne Supremacy? Those were pretty good too. However the best one's I've seen so far have been LOTR3 and The Last Samurai.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one that felt that way about The Village. In his 4 movies I'd put it 3rd.

ya there was a lot of hype in the commercials and to me now its like i got robbed...it was such false adverstisement lolol

yeah i didnt think white chicks would be *that* funny, but i totally laughed my ass off! lol

noo, i havent seen I, Robot...i dunno if ill like it cuz Will Smith's roles are so repetitive that im sick of it. lol...but i have heard all good stuff about people that have seen it!

and i soo wanna see bourne supremecy...i heard that even if u havent watched bourne identity, ull be ok and ull understand everything and u wont be lost or confused lol...so i guess thats a good thing =]

ya LOTRs in general kicked ass...i didnt think id get so into it, but Smeigel stole my heart...*sigh* lol...hey, u know when i forget which elf has to stay with the bad king in the 3rd movie, and he makes him sing? do u know if thats on the soundtrack?!! I WANT IT SO BAD!! lol

Oh! Another movie I thought of that I really reccommend is The Terminal with another stellar perfomance by Tom Hanks too. You sound like a fun person and I like your entries :)

ya im not very talkative on LJ either...i dont post really, i just read and comment lol...u can see the big gap in my entries between each one...only recently have i posted about the concert and the tickets n such =]

I just saw that, thanks a lot and I hope you posted in the hellos/intros thread so I can welcome you. It's a nice site, we had over 400 members once but we went down for a 6 weeks during a server switch snafu, and then all the files we had saved got encrypted and weren't compatible with the new version of our server. therefore we have to start from scratch again. Hopefully the person we paid to make our template compatible will have it done soon. I'm getting tired of the "standard" layout.
