On Valentine's Day, a taxi driver asked me for my number, and I gave it to him, because he seemed interesting and was reasonably cute (we both were in local bands). Today we went on a date and he mentioned his former, non-local, band in passing. I looked them up on YouTube and found recordings of them on news stations, the Dave Letterman show, and MTV.
