I MANAGED TO NOT DEFAULT ON YULETIDE (a fanfic challenge, for those of you not nerdy enough to already know.)
Managed by like 20 minutes.
Seriously, today I was literally having a sobbing meltdown between work shit and upsetting my brother and not taking any time for myself and just random anxiety shit and finding out my supervisor for the Jewish bellydance class, who I look up to and admire and really relate to, has acute myelogenous leukemia. Writing even a thousand words of passable fluffy cheerful stuff in that mood I consider a hell of an achievement.
Relatedly. Please keep Amy Ariel in your thoughts and/or prayers. She's an amazing human being who has done more to make the world a better place than anyone I know, and I'm just devastated by the idea that she might not be OK.
