For all the
body choppers on the flist, you know who you are, I present drabble. I still need to reply to stuff, but not kidding anyone, that's gonna take awhile. Which is frickin sweet.
For all the good people who trust the cops not to shoot on sight, drabbles/fics coming out later in week.
Sunrise
SasuNaru, not so subtle
Post-season one, kinda angry, perhaps emo. Because, yanno, Sasuke. Possibly 217 words.
All over the world, the sun rises. Everywhere. What he’s seeing is nothing remarkable, new, but he’s never seen the sunrise as a traitor.
He’s never seen the sun rise from Sound. Sasuke doesn’t expect it to be any different, newer, and it isn’t.
He isn’t thankful, but he might’ve been, if he wanted to be.
He doesn’t wonder what’s going on, elsewhere. How the places he used to exist in are empty now, how they’re being filled, if they can be filled. He doesn’t wonder what will change now, or what will stay the same. He doesn’t wonder if that idiot kept his head-protector, or gave it away.
He got what he wanted. He doubt anyone else understands what that means.
It doesn’t matter, and he doesn’t have the time or energy to wonder on useless, feeble things anymore. His time is precious, now. Better.
“Sasuke-kun.” Kabuto calls him whatever he wants, and Sasuke usually doesn’t bother to correct him. If he wants to kill Kabuto, he can, and that knowledge is enough to keep his temper down. “Are you done yet?”
He turns away from the sunrise, watches Kabuto’s eyes to see if they’ll flinch, and follows him.
He doesn’t wonder, anymore.

A/N: In a way I'm sorry, because I don't trust the cops.
