Fundraising and Concerts
phew... I got everything on my to-do list finished for the Benefit concert I am organizing. oh wait, one, no two more things left.... little things.
Anyway, I am feeling really good about everything I have accomplished. I bought set-design stuff today, finalized (well almost) sound and lights, and work pretty damn hard at doing my own fundraising. Its sort of sad to say, but I have raised almost half of our total profits so far. The chorus ladies need to step it up a bit.
anyway, i am hoping everything works out this weekend and people come to the show and we raise a bunch of money and my set looks good and the sound and lights work.
what i DON'T care about is whether or not people think I did a good job. because i worked pretty damn hard while everyone sat around a complained. pooey.
i like staying positive about things, because like "they" say (who ever "they" are) if you surround yourself with positive thoughts, people, things, then your life will also be positive. therefore, i don't worry too much about everything!

oh yeah, and i might have a long-term sun job lined up (i will know more by the end of the week) and my school already wants me to sub for them (yeah for being right up the road!) and now i have to get motivated and finish my portfolio!!!
