Gardening season just started \o/

Because I just had my first seeding session (no pictures yet because it would just be soil in pots which doesn't sound particularly exciting if you ask me). I put the following into soil:

Let's see what comes out of it. (see what I did there? Gnehehehe! Sorry.)

Next step will be scrubbing out those pots that had bugs or fungi last year and get more soil, also try to find the sees for those fancy basil variants I had last year and those for the bee friendly flowers. Also get strawberry seeds, and maybe eggplants (apparently, eggplants actually flourish better in containers than in the garden in our climate?) and wait for the plants I ordered to arrive. Oooh, I'm so excited, I hope at least some of the plants I seeded today make it to adulthood! Oh, oh, oh, also thyme, curry plant and lavender really do seem to have survived the winter because all of them are growing new leaves since I took them off the balcony and put them in my kitchen winter. That marks a first! I never even managed to get either of those plants through the summer, let alone a winter. I'm so happy to see them flourish, especially the thyme! Oh, also, the strawberry mint plant I thought was dead apparently managed to produce very tiny off-shoots. Maybe it survived the winter after all.
