Question: how do you tell that you're too old for tumbr?
Answer: you're not half as bothered about JKR mentioning that she found Hermione and Harry were better suited for each other than Ron and Hermione as you are bothered about the vitriol they're suddenly spewing at her on tumblr. Like, a week ago, you were still celebrating all the bits she added to canon via Pottermore (there's a huge ass list still circulating on tumblr) and suddenly she doesn't have the right to change canon blahblahblah (which, you know, she didn't even do, she just expressed a personal opinion, that I, BTW, share, most of all if it's about the movies)? Kids, could you please just make your minds up?
Also, can you please not get in a tizzy about an author expressing a simple opinion? It's not like she completely rewrote the books or anything *rolls eyes If she does that, then you can freak out but if that never happens? Calm the fuck down. Good God.
(and just to add my own two cents: as mentioned above, I agree with JKR because let's face it, even if they didn't have chemistry in the books, Dan and Emma definitely had more chemistry than Emma and Rupert and as a Draco/Hermione shipper, I just sit back with my popcorn and enjoy the Harry/Hermione and Ron/Hermione shippers getting it on. Also, isn't it much more important that Hermione is the character that kicked ass the most in the entire series and the one character that spoke so much to me (and a lot of other people) that I (we) will defend her with our last breath than who she ended up with?)
