Married and it'll be 34 years in June, holy shit.

On Wednesday.

1200 and then I went to the bathroom and wanted to go to the living room but the bed in the bedroom looked so inviting and long story short, I got up at 1340...

Pajamas...

17. What is your favourite Christmas song?
All I Want For Christmas and I'm not even embarrassed by it. Fairy Tale of New York is a close second, though.

IN MY BED.

Um, I'm not even sure I have those?

20. Where would you go if you could go anywhere?
New Zealand (I might actually go there in November, if flight prizes stay below 1500€ until May), Antartica, the South Seas

I hope not in the same place as now, honestly.

I become a lobster, then graveyard pale again, there's nothing in between.

23. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child?
No one and nothing, actually.

- One working, in the living room, one not working in my old room

- Usually 70 x 200, at the moment 140x200 cm (house sitting for my sister and brother-in-law who are both in India right now)

Laptop.

Right now? Burgundy.

Winter. I loathe summer with the fire of a thousand suns. I

Cold and dark and wind and above all, snow (even though the entire public transport system in Berlin just basically stops whne there are three snow flakes on the tracks/streets...).

Eh. Barbecues in the backyard of Berlin inner city houses, I guess? Also, oh, Kiel Week (because that's traditionally in the dampest, windiest and coldest week of June and I love it).

35. What do you like about spring?
What do you mean, like? Oh, okay, err, cherry blossoms and little sprigs of green, I guess.

36. How many states/provinces have you lived in?
If we're talking world wide, then it would be four.

37. What cities/towns have you lived in? (number of addresses in brackets)
Berlin, Erfurt, San Carlos de Bariloche (Mayen and Kastellaun, too, if living in barracks counts as living in cities).

38. Do you prefer shoes, socks, or bare feet?
Bare feet, actually.

39. Are you a social person?
Eh, I don't know. I'm generally an introvert but with the right set of people, I'll totally spend hours talking and stuff.

40. What was the last thing you ate?
Penne with gorgonzola, radiccio and pears, I'm not even shitting you (I cooked it myself. I still think I'm bullshitting myself, to be honest).

41. What is your favourite restaurant?
Barcomi's, even though it's more of a deli/café.

42. What is your favourite ice cream?
Ben & Jerry's Peaunt Butterer thingy stuff (the one with peanut butter ice cream and raspberry jelly core and little Reese's in the ice cream).

43. What is your favourite dessert?
That warm chocolate cake with the liquid core, uh, chocolat malheur or something?

44. What is your favourite kind of soup?
Not a big fan of soups here but Mom makes a good vegetable soup.

45. What kind of jelly do you like on your PB & J sandwich?
Raspberry. I'm a traditional kind of girl :)

46. Do you like Chinese food?
Sure, I guess?

47. Do you like coffee?
No. I tried to like it but so far the only coffee I didn't immediately have to gag from was Starbuck's Pumkin Spice Latte and even there I could still taste the coffee (my sister were like "But it's basically just sugar! There's no way you can still taste the coffee!"). I always have been, are and always will be a tea girl.

48. How many glasses of water a day do you drink on average?
Not enough, I think.

49. What do you drink in the morning?
TEA OH GOD I NEED MY TEA I CAN'T FUNCTION WITHOUT TEA IN THE MORNING.

51. Do you sleep on a certain side of the bed?
Nope, smack dab in the middle.

52. Do you know how to play poker?
No, and that's kind of inconvinient when you're writing Atlantis fic... ("girls' poker night", anyone?).

Eh. Sometimes?

Yessssssssssss, 2009, Vancouver.

Pretty sure, yes.

Out, I guess. I'm not a really good cook and I tend to be lazy, as well.

My mom and Madeleine Albright.

Pretty sure not, no.

60. Do you speak any other languages?
What do you mean, other? If that pertains to English, yes I do. German and I used to speak Spanish passably well (I do still understand most of it but I'm horrible at speaking it, I think) and I once learned Japanese but forgot most of it (I do know how to say "The dog ate my homework!" and "I don't know Japanese. Please ask me another time. I have to go!" in Japanese!), tried learning French (kept confusing it with Spanish all the time...) and even attempted Russian (wish I'd been less lazy and stayed with it because I like the language and it might have helped with job prospects...).

Yes.

62. Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?
No.

63. Do you prefer an ocean or a pool?
Honestly? Pool. I love to watch the ocean and walk on the beach but I'm too chicken to really like swimming in the ocean. Also, I really just hate salt water.

64. Do you prefer a window seat or an aisle seat?
Aisle in planes (I hate having to climb over other people to stretch my legs or go to the rest room), window anywhere else.

65. Do you know how to drive stick?
I used to. Now I don't know how to drive anything.

66. What is your favourite thing to spend money on?
Books and yarn. But more books. Books...

67. Do you wear any jewellery 24/7?
No.

Stargate Atlantis will always have that special place in my heart that no show will ever capture, but I also like SG1, Leverage, Arrow, Gilmore Girls, M*A*S*H, Buffy, Babylon 5 and, just recently, China Beach.

I think my sister and brother-in-law once nearly ran out of gas when I was in the backseat, does that count?

Read as in... finished? I'm not sure. But I'm currently reading a book on frontline nurses and other medical personnel in World War II, one about Army nurses in World War II, one about Army nurses in the Vietnam War (almost finished with that, though), one about Cairo in World War II, Home Before Morning by Lynda van Devanter (an autographical book about, you might have guessed it, Army nurses in the Vietnam War) and Dominion by C. J. Sansom (an alternate history novel about what might have happened if the British had surrendered to Nazi Germany after Norway and Dunkirk). Ooh, wait, I just realized I did finish a book in the last couple of months, A Defence Weapon to be Known of Value, a book about US military women in the Korean War era.

No, just individual articles on the internet.

No.

Never have, never will. (Actually, that's a lie. I did watch "Verano de '98" and "De Corazón" on Argentinian television when I was in San Carlos the Bariloche in '98 but don't tell anyone).

Totally :D

Radio Berlin 88,8.

Wedding pictures of my sister and brother-in-law.

My 11th form English teacher, though everyone else hated her.

I HATE camping but I think I did it fairly often with my parents when I was a kid, so... two weeks or something?

sgteam14283 because she sent me a wonderful package from the US for Christmas the second year in a row ♥ (I'm working on yours right now, BTW!).
