Not just 'apocalyptic', but also likely prophetic, given the state of current affairs.

That was my inspiration. I wanted something not alien-related but thoroughly man-made and rareb suggested spinning out the worst consequences of the current state of affairs. I agreed, and thus she saved the story ;)

I loved the story, what you did with the 'this is where we could be heading if things don't change' for the story is brilliant. I could honestly see that happening. And while I loved seeing Dusty in the story it made me a bit sad for Lorne and Elliot, that they have both lost things that they care for but still try to fight the good fight.

Can't wait for the next chapter!
