What's the funnest thing you've done today?
Trying to buy shoes and ending up in a book store. I always end up in book stores when I go shopping. But to be fair: I did spend a whole ten minutes in the shoe store before deciding for a pair of sneakers before I went off to the book store (where I passed... I have no idea how much time I passed there). Also, I agree with asugar. Funnest totally doesn't sound like it's a word.

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Leverage (OMGTHIRDSEASONCOMINGAROUNDTHISMONTH!). Bit of Iron Man (Tony/Pepper is kinda... addictive). And I feel a little bout of Percy Jackson addiction coming on (can't decide between Percy/Annabeth and Annabeth/Luke... oh, and there's Percy/Clarisse to consider. What? I love a good love/hate pairing.).

Which fictional character do you think you're most like?
Probably Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series. I used to be bookish (I still read a lot and can still bury myself in a book but I'm more outgoing today), read through books really, really fast (not as fast as mackenziesmomma, though), seem to pick up random facts (mostly pop culture but also science and politics) just by reading all kinds of stuff (but I'm really bad at learning things by rote... at university all the law stuff and I didn't really go along well), had always a tendency to be an annoying know-it-all (most of all as a kid... my parents still like to tell the story with me as a three-year-old telling one of my parents' friends in a very clear voice "Aunt Beate, this is a current collector." ("Tante Beate, das ist ein Stromabnehmer.") while pointing to exactly the thing I was talking about), get easily annoyed at people who don't pick up things as fast as I do (when it's about things I do pick up fast, I mean... I'm hopeless at math, for example) ...
I do, however, wish I had Hermione's courage and determination. I really could use some of that right now :S
If you could only listen to one band or singer for the rest of your life who would it be?
Runrig? Yeah, I guess Runrig would be my band of choice. Although the prospect of having to listen to only one band for the rest of my life is not a nice one :S

The Godfather on tv because mom wanted to watch it and I am so very, very, very bored. Seriously... what's with everyone being so into mafia? They're just a bunch of murderous criminals. No one is seriously rooting for the ETA or the IRA and they're basically doing the same thing.
What was the last meal you ate?
Eh... the wrong things, that's for sure.
Do you want to learn another language?
YES! Right now, I'm trying to add French to my "portfolio" (for want of a better word) of foreign languages (there are already English and Spanish and I would have loved to master Japanese but I tried twice and totally failed :( One day I will manage it!) and I'm tempted to try an Arabic language or Russian.
