wow.
the craziest thing happened last night! remember how i found a kid from delaware who went to sallies with steve fetters??
okay, last night i was standing on that kid's back porch with a group of people, and HALF OF THE PEOPLE STANDING ON THE PORCH were from wilmington, delaware!! steve copson, who was the original kid who knew stevie. and then chris hover, who also went to sallies. and guess who else. kevin isaacson!! WHO WENT TO BRANDYWINE!! he graduated in '03, he's 2 years older than me. how crazy is that. the 4 of us talked for SOOOO LONG about things in wilmington. we talked about the highbergers...and lacrosse. and amy williams. and of course they know the laymans. and so much stuff. i cannot believe i found this many people from MY HOMETOWN. i mean, i understand that there's people in greensboro from DE and all, but the way i met the other kid, cause he plays rugby. it was just so crazy.
and something else - a few weeks before i left for school chip hannig (who runs the exxon that stevie works at) was like, oh! i know a kid who goes to uncg. mr. chip's best friend who he graduated from sallies with, his son goes to uncg. so mr. chip is like, kristen i'll give him your number and you guys can hook up and maybe get rides back and forth together. and so i never got the number, i guess i just wasn't at the exxon for awhile. but last night steve copson goes...hey...do you know chip hannig? and i was like, of course, him and my dad coached talleyville softball together for years. so then he goes "well, i may be taking a shot in the dark...but last time i was home, chip asked me if he could give my number to this girl he's known since she was little. and she'll be a freshman at uncg this year." and i was like IT'S ME!! I'M THAT GIRL!!

and brandywine beat concord in field hockey yesterday in OT, i am SO PROUD of you girls!!
alright time to get stuff done. aka, make my mac and cheese and finish my "to do" list for next week haha.
