Camp Jitterbug was fantastic. What a amazing experience...I'm competely exausted, but my dancing has reached a new level and I have a feeling I'm on an upward hill dancing-wise.
It was such a unique experience - so different than anything else I'd ever done. I got zero sleep, but I took classes all day (4 a day, 12 in total), then usually took a nap, then went to the regular dance (with a live band all 3 nights) and went to the late night (started at 1am, ended at about 5ish). Then I came back to my hotel, slept for a couple hours and did it all over again. For 3 days I ate, slept (or not) and breathed dance. It was beautiful.
AND I took classes from some of the top instuctors and competitors in the world. It doesn't get much better than that!! The dance floors were packed - hardly enough room to do a swingout - but I spent 3 whole days surrounded by people who understood and embraced my love for dance! What an experience. I will defiantely do this again.
