Odin and Frigga are the ultimate pair of Papa and Mama Bear parents in this angsty story. I wonder how SHIELD is going to react to the fact that they failed to keep Loki safely held prisoner and now an angry God King is going on the war path for his child.
I can't. I can't squee. It's...a bit like the gate house I suppose? I feel as if you've just dropped a perfectly polished stone into the me that is a still bit of water, and I'm rippling with thoughts and possibilities and can't stop staring at that perfect stone at the bottom that caused all this.
...That is an incredibly flowery metaphore for how you gave me feels. My thanks.
I've never had my writing inspire metaphors before, that's exciting. I love getting squee responses, but I almost like getting the comments where people can't squee more. That means the writing worked.
You are welcome. In a way, this story *chin hands* augh, I can't parse this correctly.
I loved how Loki basically refused to be broken, even if he's obviously insane since he's not making full attempts at escape. Painting with blood, really? Instead of running? And Hella was reaching for him, I suspect he wasn't reaching back. Loki refuses to die, at all, ever.
Is he taunting them to be tortured for everyone to see, so as to get forgiveness in Asgard? Avengers didn't happen, from the sounds of things, and, stuf stuff, stuffy stuff.
Even though this is perfect as it is, I'd love a sequel. Reflections of people, shock on Midgard at the GIANTT FUCKING CRATOR where Odin went wrath of god on them.
oh this was more than lovely! it was positively adorable and I loved the touch you added with his two kids also fuming about the treatment their father endured
I kinda really hope you write more of this... I want the avengers reaction to suddenly a wild Odin appears
The kids sneaked up on me, they weren't in the original plan. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I might do another part to this if I get a good idea for it, but right now I'm working on other interesting prompts. The Golem is becoming a verse, so that might take a while.
