Every once in a while I come back and read through comments just because, and I'm surprised that I never responded to yours because it makes me happy.
I went in to the post-Avengers part of the story thinking that it was basically going to be Tony's due to the nature of what needed to happen to bring Loki back, but the evolution of Jarvis and Loki's relationship snuck up on me (and honestly, writing incredibly significant and intricate sub-plots without letting myself notice is kind of my favorite part of writing anything at all) and is probably the main driving force of the verse at this point, even if it is rarely at the forefront.
I love everything that you pointed out about them, because you are really close to where my brain was at during the plotting process. I wanted to make the parallels between Loki and Jarvis subtle, but still apparent if you know what to look for. And you caught the Edwin/Loptr connection despite the fact that I have not mentioned Edwin at all (I think? I can't actually remember anymore. I had several references to him written in that ultimately got cut because they didn't work the way I wanted them to).
When I get back around to mass writing this I was considering trying to develop Odin and Loptr's relationship and drawing parallels there, but now I want to write about Tony and Edwin (which I blame you for, just like I blame Nemi-chan for this fanfiction of my own fanfiction moment that might ACTUALLY make it into the real verse).
