Thanos' 'offer' would work on most Lokis, if they believe him that is. Waving a carrot in front of his eyes while going in to make things the way he wants.
I rather think Thanos might 'like' Loki if he sees him as not really alive that is.
In part 1a I wonder if the It Loki refers to is the child, or what Thor did. I think, perhaps, it's the boy, who's time with the Avengers gave him the peace and space to buffer some things. A safe place that he knows, but does not.
I also find it interesting that Loki lacks and eidetic memory, at least in this situation. He is even sleep walking, after a fashion. Loosing time?
"There has been too long for it to settle," I think you mean "It has been there too long," per chance?
Loki has a Thor shaped hole in his head, I wonder if part of that--sort of inertia from his previous settings, is what is driving bloodfeardestruction feels. (Mostly I think this because he used Odin's thread to soothe it.)
Though, something about the description does not merely give me the feeling of an amputation, but rather gouged out. But that's not right, is it? Because no matter how Loki was bound to Thor, Loki was not Thor. It's like...Thor was eating him, sucking joy and wants and needs out of him. Like something with TEETH was torn out of him. It shows in how Loki gives himself a moment to Want, and then stops, because it's not allowed/won't happen. Thor gets, Loki doesn't, and even without Thor, that's his assumption. He didn't ask for water, way back before.
...Loki was built to be something like a trellis for the growing vine that was Thor. But Loki is a tree, and the vine strangled him. He became a crutch.
Loki is now tied to Odin, I wonder if the nature of the binding "just be," is Odin, or a tweak the Dwarves did? Muffling, perhaps the other things that might come through, hence why it is a thread. (Thread bare blanket from childhood that still gives such comfort.) It could also be, of course, that Odin is a full grown man, set in his ways, mature, he no longer needs to be shaped.
He shoves Thor's things back, into the darkness, locked up like stolen relics. I can't tell if that's better or worse than burning them.
Loki starting to take care of his surroundings, being able to fix things and doing so. And when he allows himself to Want, and indulges in it, JARVIS bars his path.
Loki is such a child, an abused/neglected child. And so is Tony. Poor Tony having to be the Adult. (They need to go get Pepper more.)
And Loki, and Dummy. Having a Link that demands nothing of him. Yes, it has to be nice. Loki never demanded anything of Thor, the connection was one way. Now this...it's just talking, holding hands, both ways, but not Bound.
And no, Jarvis, it's not the same Loki. His 0th Law, his number one protocol, has been changed. It's irrational, just as holding Loki against Hallr was. Because Jarvis is a person too. Like Loki, like Tony, like Hallr
