More Tenimyu-in-Tokusatsu News!
I'm actually surprised that no one's posted this...
A few weeks ago, we received the happy news that Masahiro Inoue and Murai Ryouta were both going to be starring in Kamen Rider DCD...and now the casting for DCD's sister show has been announced, and guess who's the next Tenimyu-based Sentai star!
Congratulations to Aiba Hiroki for being cast in Samurai Sentai Shinkenger!!!! Aibacchi will be playing ShikenBlue, whose "civilian identity" is named Ikenami Ryunosuke (I have no clue whether that's Eastern or Western order, though). Very little info is known about the show or his character, but what we DO know is that Blue's weapon is a bow-and-arrow style...thing...and that his mecha/Zord is a freakin' dragon.
Also, in an amusing twist of events, Aiba-san will also be the oldest actor in the core group. XP Aiba's 21, Red and Pink are 20, Green is 19 (will turn 20 in February), and Yellow is 16.
So...congratulations once again to Aibacchi on the new role! Expect more information to come out in January!
