Family Pets.

For the past..... always, my son has been begging me for a variety of animals. Dog, cat, hedgehog! I got him a fish a few months ago he named Puffy. Since then I've had to buy three Puffys because I really, really don't want to tell him that his fish died. Naturally, the idea of anything requiring more responsibility on his part is a little off-putting.

However!

A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine introduced me to his ferrets. I think I fell in love a little, & Sky thought they were the coolest things ever! But I'm hesitant! Are they family pets? Do they plot world domination at night? Will they strategically collect my son's action figures to build an army & rearrange my sock drawer?

A girl needs to know these things!
