Dissection lab last night fucking ROCKED! Think Gakuto and me ended up cross-sectioning every fucking organ of that nurse shark-shit, I gotta new appreciation for 'em. They got the coolest eyes-cooler than a dog shark, at least. Think I ate more last night than I did over the past month.
There's one thing that really pisses me off about Japan and sharks, though. And that's fucking shark fin soup. These fishermen catch sharks, slice off the fins, and dump 'em back in the ocean cause shark meat is s'posed to be worthless. So these sharks are dumped in, still alive, but they can't swim or nothin, so they suffocate. And no one gives a fuck!
Think my copy of Catcher in the Rye got more notes than text now. But I realized that...well, shit. Realized I really can't compare anyone from Hyotei to characters from Pencey. Cause Hyotei had its share of fucking bastards, but I'm startin to realize that some of 'em look out for ya.
Gonna go to the aquarium this weekend before work. They gotta new stingray exhibit. Stingrays are kickass.
