I haven't posted specifically to LJ in ages, it seems. Over a year? Anyway, I don't know, haven't felt much like it. Been busy and stuff.
Stuff I'm watching now!
Fringe. This is really what I'm most into right now, I think. So it sucks a lot that as of last Friday, there's no new Fringe till January. That's so far away. +_+
Anyway, I caught up on all three seasons over the summer, really loved it. Love how they've handled alternate universes through the first 3 seasons (I've enjoyed the new iteration so far, but the jury is still out until we see how it all fits together), LOVE LOVE LOVE Red Earth (that's the original alternate universe... it has zepellins! and cool gadgets! and Fauxilivia is so much fun and there was Charlie, who was my early favorite, and it introduced Lincoln Lee, who is my current favorite. Also, even though I spent 2 and half seasons saying where I don't feel like shipping anything (Peter and Olivia are fine, but they don't really ping my shipping tropes buttons), suddenly I started to think, well, Alt!Lincoln and Fauxlivia could be quite cute, and then last Friday's episode happened ('Wallflower') and now I would REALLY like to see this version of Lincoln finally get the girl. He deserves it, damnit!
And so it's clear: I do love me some Bishop boys. It wouldn't be a JJ Abrams show without daddy issues, and Peter and Walter's relationship has been a huge draw for me.
Also, Astrid. Astrid is awesome.
Community. I don't really understand how this stayed off my radar as long as it did, but damn, that series is MADE for me. Love it! Particularly Troy and Abed, because they are awesome. And yes, it being benched come January? Uncool. Uncool uncool uncool.
Other than that... still have the last two episodes of Doctor Who. I think I'm doing that thing where I'm evading finishing it, because I don't want it to be over. Except Doctor Who isn't over, and it's not like I cant' go watch everything before Matt Smith if I need a Who fix. So I don't get why I'm stalling.
Just started Merlin series 3. I think I've accepted that the series is what it is. Arthur and Merlin's relationship will never move forward, the reset button will be pressed on any potential new developments. It's a silly little show, but it's very watchable (just please keep Lancelot away... the Lancelot episode in series 2 made me want to drop the whole thing right there), certainly a LOT better than Camelot was. And Morgana appears to have her mojo back, and I won't say more because
riverbanks is a season back and spoilers. But also, Ben Daniels is in series 4, and that was HUGE in getting me to pick up the series again.
Toku-wise, I haven't started Garo (I suck, I know), and I'm once again behind on Gokaiger. I'll get to the one and pick up the other... possibly when
riverbanks catches up on Gokaiger herself and kicks my ass about it.
